All is well

Little Nehemiah hernia free!
He handled the surgery & anesthesia like a champ, probably better than us (maybe they should knock parents out when their kids are out). He has a tiny little scar.
We had to spend the night in the hospital for watch over his breathing.
We saw nurses all night long (how come it seems the night shift nurses visit so much more often than the day nurses??).
I think that was harder on him than the surgery.
He missed snuggling Gwenyth.
I held him all night long.
It was odd to have just the two of us.
I think we both missed the noise, dodging flying footballs from Titus, and listening to the girls talk & talk & talk.
I just soaked him in & didn't waste a single minute of our time together.

Praise the Lord, Nehemiah is back with his sister, so they can do this...
Thank you for your prayers!

Yay! So glad to hear all went well. I DEFINITELY agree parents need the drugs more than the kids! I begged for some when they gave Connor his, but they just wouldn't share. Darn. ;)

Glad to hear you enjoyed the precious moments just holding one. Those are hard to come by with three ... can't imagine 5! :)
