Nouns, Verbs and Adjectives
This morning Gwen used the word disgusting as a verb. Nehemiah was biting her book and she look at me with her inner Oakland-self(proudly I passed it on to her- I think she even made a smack sound before she started) and she said with immense disdain, "Nehemiah is disgusting my book. Tell him to stop."
Fast forward.
This past weekend, Addie was at a slumber party, leaving Gwen all alone in their room. Gwen and "alone" don't go together, at. all. She comes bee-bopping into the kitchen in her nightgown, and after she breaths onto my face at close range (so I can smell her minty fresh breath-proving to me that she already brushed her teeth), she says, "Titus wants me to have a slumber party in his room with Nehemiah(nodding convincingly). He said that. I'm honeseting right now." I love it when my kids make nouns and adjectives into verbs.
Now I'm off to clean my house, because my kids have been busy disgusting it. I'm honesting right now, they have been:)
