Conversations with Nehemiah (from 2 years ago)
I'm back!
This is a throwback post from 2013, which just goes to show how crazy life with twins, +3 other kiddos have made my last 5 years. It has been so long since I last blogged, it took me a whole hour, oodles of password attempts, and more patience than it takes to get my clan through Costco during free sample hour- just to get logged in. Enjoy this little gem of a story that I found in my "Drafts" box.
.............
Nehemiah has a favorite bathtub squirt toy-a little blue dolphin. Today he came up to me with his dolphin and asked, "What if my dolphin can't swim?" I assured him that all dolphins can swim because that is the way God made them. "They are born already knowing how to swim," I told him. He said, "He don't have no arms, so he can't wear my floatie."
I love conversations with 3 year old, because they almost always bring up very normal things to talk about, but they are things I have never really ever talked about. The obvious is not so obvious to them. That is so exciting!

I can totally hear him say this in his deep voice. Love it!
