The Gap.

Today Addie came racing up to me. Full of excitement, she caming running into the bedroom shouting with joy, "I lost my first tooth, I lost my first baby tooth, mommy!" Knowing she has not a single loose tooth, I was anxious to see just what she meant. I said, "Let me have a look." She quickly lifted her upper lip.

This is what I saw...She said, "See that little black line, that's where my tooth used to be. Can you beleive it mommy." I didn't have the heart or the words to explain the truth of her dental situation.

So, today Addie lost her first baby tooth.
