Emma: up close


Emma is a beautiful 8 (and a half).

   She is my oldest.
She leaves for church camp today. 
This is her first time away from home.
She will sleep 4 nights away from us, sleeping in teepee's, if that isn't the coolest thing I have ever heard.
We will all have "Emma" withdrawls, especially Addie, who falls asleep each night to Emma's laugh & silly stories.
 
 She is growing up.  She is beautiful inside and out.

That's crazy. I can't believe Emma is old enough to go to camp. Oh how time flies. I remember my first time going to that camp and you sending me packages. It was super sweet of you. I think I may still have those socks:) Give Emma our love, wish I had realized she was going so I could have gotten something to her.

Teepees are awesome. That is the coolest thing in the camp-world. I think we should have teepees in your backyard now.

Awesome for Emma! Unfortunately I miss her when she's at home too!
