Heavenly Ponderings by Addie

     Tonight we went for a treat to a favorite yogurt station of ours-Tutti Frutti.  At the "girls" table we were talking about candy.  Addie mentioned that in Heaven you could eat all the candy you wanted.  She just believed in Jesus about a month ago,
and she is so excited about all the perks that go along with Him.  

She said she was even going to eat candy for breakfast, which made Emma and I go "eeew!"  

She replied, "What? You can't get cavities in Heaven."  

This girl remember, bike riding, is primarily motivated by fear.  

I said, "Candy every day, huh?  What if you wake up one day and don't feel like candy?  What are you going to have? 

She quickly answers, "Whatever God is making."

I love her view of heaven.  It is full of magical things like flying & unicorns, and many many familiar things like Cubbie bear, her favorite songs & a bedroom still in my mansion.  Her heaven has lots of candy, and even bike rides. Only in Heaven when she wakes up for breakfast, she won't be asking me what I making, she'll ask God :)
Maybe He'll give her that morning lollipop she's always wanted.
