Merry Christmas & Hanes

Here was our final Christmas card picture!

Below is one of many of our "timer picture" attempts that followed the picture above. Brian and I like to try to be in the picture b/c we always like to see whole families in pictures. However, when your middle child does a funny face on the "non-funny face" shot, we had to go with picture #1 ....plus, they all looked so perfectly happy & all parents know a picture where everyone is looking & smiling-is a picture to be framed in gold.

Here is our real funny face picture (minus Titus who can only make a "I am really cute" face.
This year we carried on the family tradition of The Themed Dinner!
This year was called, Hanes Your Way.
From L-R we have: Matt sporting a Where is Jar-Jar Binx? number. If you don't know who Jar-Jar Binx is or what he looks like or why my brother would be wearing a t-shirt paying tribute to him, click here. Next is Joan wearing a fabulously decorated Musical Note t-shirt with two songs she tried to teach me to play as a child...I am not very musical, so, they look better on her shirt then they sounded when I tried to play them. Mom is next, and she went all out in effort, sewing buttons on by hand (special buttons b/c many of them belonged to my grandma or were made by her). Her shirt always weighed as much as a suit of armor, so, we gave her props for creativity, but also for that too! My dad is wearing a shirt entitled "The Tie That Binds" and he is paying tribute to Marty & Marta who are stuffed animals the girls gave him a couple of Christmas' ago and they travel with my brother all around the world. He takes pictures and sends them to us...check out their travels at www.mrbaroski.blogspot.com (my brother is still learning the art of blogging). Aunt Denise is holding Addie (who decorated her own shirt with gobs and gobs of puffy paint), is wearing a t-shirt that pays tribute to her pets. She loaded her shirt up with pictures galore & a few cat toys on the back as well, we're thankful we don't have any pets b/c it could've gotten ugly around her shirt. Emma drew a picture of each of her family members on her shirt. Titus wore a shirt with the words "Big Son" on it b/c that is what we call him, Daddy had "Big Daddy #7" on his for the future size of his family and I had on a red shirt with a candy cane ribbon going down the front (a huge disappointing effort for me), but nothing else was working for the tummy. Brian went & picked up our old neighbor Marvin and Emma decorated him with a clip-on purple glitter butterfly...he fit right in!!
