Last day of school 2012 (a little late)
What a wonderful year we had this year! I am amazed each year by how much my kids grow and learn. God truly hand picks each teacher. He proves to us every year-He knows what He is doing. Both girls had memorable school years-they had a ton of fun, did the most precious crafts and fabulous projects where they got to show their creativity. Their days were sprinkled with fun from dinosaur excavation sites to 4th grade Business Days, Imagination Machine and Student Council. They made new friends, tried new things and were challenged in some areas where they needed to grow. Emma became a world class movie maker (and amused so many families at Open House with her video projects-the teacher had them playing on the smart board!). Their teachers did a great job of capitalizing on their strengths and bringing up their weaknesses. Addie's teacher was so sweet and intentional when her best friend moved. In so many personal and dear ways, she made Addie want to come back to school each and every day, despite her broken heart. I am so thankful for our local school!
The crew. Last day at the after school park! We made it through the whole school year without a single injury and only one pee-on-the-swings accident.
Added bonus, Addie lost her first tooth on the last day of school (right after we got home).
