Mr. & Mrs.

13 years ago today I scored the catch of a lifetime! Still can't believe he picked me :)

13 things I love about you, this year:
1) You pop popcorn for us almost every night on the stove top.
2) Almost none of your socks have "friends."
3) You make sure my car is locked every night, because you know I probably left something in it that I need or care about.
4) You don't get flustered anymore when I don't remember where my wallet or keys are and the fact that it doesn't worry me, doesn't bother you anymore either.
5) You help wash the dishes at night & will help grate cheese any time I need help with that too, because I am not a fan of cheese grating.
6) You help bring the massive loads of laundry to the living room, so I can fold it while sitting on the couch probably while watching some silly TV show like The Bachelor.
7) You like fruity smelling candles.  For example, Christmas on the Beach, which doesn't smell like Christmas at all, but coconut instead.
8) You can make a competition out of anything-from hitting wiffle golf balls into a hula hoop on the far side of the yard to seeing who can throw a softball into a tiny drainage hole in our backyard from 30 feet away.
9) You keep life fun and funny.
Life would be so much harder if you didn't find a way to laugh with me, at me, at yourself or through the middle the some of the insanely chaotic/loud/messy moments we live through together. Most recently, I think we have laughed when Titus, in his words as you are on the garage floor patching my bike tire, "I be hamma-ing nails inta your tires, Momma.", you stubbing your foot reeeeaaallly hard on a "misplaced" doorframe, pee on the floor of the bedroom because we didn't get a diaper on soon enough, when an open bag of Cheerios gets picked up from the wrong end, when we both couldn't get open a teeny-tiny bag of fruit snacks, and looking across the long dinner table at night and not being able to hear each other.  A smile and laughter goes a long way & probably helps keep us from a multitude of sins!
10) I love that you think I have a lot to offer and on my worst days you remind me to believe it.
11) You dance with much gusto with the kids and I in the kitchen even though your dance moves are imitated and harassed endlessly by the 6 of us.
12) You always help me find my other shoe when it's missing
13) You are one heck of a man-strong, unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the best daddy for our brood, and you boldly drive a mini-van.

Being married to you has been the hardest and easiest thing I have ever done!
I know you could same the same :)
