Welcome to the EBC

EBC stands for Emma Broadcasting Company.  Emma made her on-camera debut last week in Room 26 at Sellers Elementary School.  She had a school project about ecosystems.  She had 4 choices:  1) a 2 page essay about a California ecosystem 2) an experiment pertaining to ecosystems 3) a summary report 4) a commercial or video project.  I made her choose #4.  Her mantra this year is "Go for it!"  The Willmers are full steam ahead and we are not looking back!  Some much of school is written work and summary related- I knew my girl had it in her to show off her smarts and her creative flare.  Let me tell you, she did not disappoint.

As for anchorman Brian, he came just in time for a clutch performance... hot off the airplane from a tough football game all to help his fellow news anchorwoman.  He filmed his "segment," as they like to say in the biz, at 12:45 a.m. and while tired, he showed he is amazing off the cuff :)

The video rocked.  Emma rocked.  I love her facial expressions, her eye contact with the camera, her comment about sea turtles confusing the bottle holder for a jelly fish, then choking and dying, and her stellar hand gestures!  All I can say on her behalf is, "Katie Couric, move on over, Emma Willmer is bringing her A game!" Bring It On!

I think this short documentary should be submitted to the Sundance Film Festival! Emma was a natural in front of the camera and the photography was amazing. I forever will pick up my trash (and others) at the beach. Thank you Emma and EBC! -Coach Cyndi
