Trail Mix doctrine

Today we had a little trail mix with our lunch. Halfway through our meal, Addie had a deep thought.

"I am like a raisin and God is like an M&M, because he is good on the inside."

The girls also got to share in my birthday gift last night.  Brian took the 3 of us girls to see Les Miserables. Since then, we have been spending a lot of time talking about grace, mercy, 

forgiveness & the goodness of God and his gift to us as sinners.

Our verse to memorize and talk about a lot this week is Galatians 2:20:

"I have been crucified with Christ.  It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.  

The life I live I which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the son of God,

who loved my and gave himself up for me." 

Addie later asked, "Can you ask Jesus out of your heart?"  I told her he only moves in, he doesn't move out.  We can ignore Him sometimes & sometimes it may feel like he is not in there. 

But nothing can change the fact, that when Christ moves in He brings the chocolate.
