Old Spice

Big Son has a new favorite. Before the twins were born I headed to Target to stock up on some family neccessities that I knew I wouldn't be able to get for awhile. We bought things like shampoo, detergent, chocolate milk mix, and some new body soap for Brian. I am not good at picking out man soap, so, Titus lended a helping hand. There we stood in the aisle facing a wall of body soaps. Within moments, Titus had snatched up the Old Spice Sport like he was scrambling for a loose ball. Why? You may wonder did his paws gravitate towards that brand. Well, the football player on the front of the bottle seemed to be calling his name...loudly. I was grateful for Big Son's help & I thought his dad would be overjoyed (minus the extra .62 cents I paid for it).
That bottle kept him happy for the rest of our Target trip.
All he kept saying was, "Football! Football!"...as he hoisted the body soap bottle above his head, as if it were the Lombardi trophy itself.

What I didn't realize, until bath time later that evening, was that Titus thought that the soap was his and my once shy & hesitant bath taker, became the bathtub MVP. Once I announced it was bath time, he raced for the soap, came barreling towards me with it, naked, and wanted to be in that tub & lathered in Old Spice Sport ASAP. So, that's what we did & that is exactly how bath time has looked ever since. My son rolling in a tub full of Old Spice bubbles.

We can't help, but laugh when we put our little man to bed and
all we get is a huge whiff of Old Spice.

Nothing says 2 year old little boy, quite like Old Spice Sport.
Happy Tuesday to you and I hope you find yourself smelling fabulous today!

Can I tell you that Connor totally knows the difference between, AND has preferences, for all of the MAN BODY WASH varities? (AND--shhh...don't tell anyone....he's getting stinky pitters so he also has a favorite deodorant! HA!)

Did we even USE soap in 3rd grade?????

Hope you and Family of 7 are doing well.

We are hoping to fill the Old Spice bottle with some cheap Target brand soap when this bottle runs out-fingers crossed he doesn't notice the color and scent change :) We've got to get the crews together in the spring...a UCLA day?
